Egg Toast for Breakfast

There is an opinion that breakfast should be hearty and healthy.

Nutritionists explain it by the fact that breakfast allows you to instantly recover the lost energy and quickly raises your blood glucose level to normal after sleep. In addition, it restores the supply of glycogen in the muscles and liver cells, which has a positive effect on functionality. So let’s cook together!

You need a few simple ingredients that are in every home and 8 minutes of free time.

Ingredients: 

  • 1 egg
  • 1 pcs toast bread
  • olive oil 
  • salt and pepper (to your taste )
  • a few pieces of mozzarella, avocado, or any other vegetables from your fridge

How to cook?

In a piece of bread, make a round hole. You can use a glass to create a perfect hole. 

Pour some oil into the pan and put a piece of bread on it. Then, put a small circle of bread in the pan. Take the egg, break it and pour it into the hole of the toasted bread. Salt and pepper on the top. Fry for 3-4 minutes over medium heat. 

Flip the toast when the egg white at the bottom starts to whiten. It takes about 4 min. Continue frying from the other side at the same time. 

I love it when the egg yolk inside is liquid, so I make sure the toast isn’t overcooked. But it’s all up to you – you can cook it longer if you do not like to eat your egg yolk liquid.

Do not forget to fry the small piece of bread as well. It will be the basis for mozzarella and avocado. 

Put your egg toast on the plate. Next to it, place the small circle of bread with cheese and avocado. 

Take the egg, break it and pour it into the hole of the toasted bread.

You can add greens, pepper, or whatever you like.
